Description:
I'm guessing that this is a 1960's Royal Mercury as the body on this typewriter is all metal (This is mentioned on Machines of Loving Grace http://machinesoflovinggrace.com/royals.htm). It's a really nice typer if a little on the loud side. It's pretty light and a good traveling typewriter. The margin release can also release jammed type bars, very cool. We bought this on in Phoenix, AZ while on vacation. Got to meet Bill Wahl of Mesa Typewriter exchange on our trip as well. Bill is a great guy. If your in need a typewriter repair or want to buy a quality machine that's in full working order don't hesitate to check out his store.
