Description:
This is an elusive deluxe version of the Brother JP-4 design, with keyset tabulator and power return. It was the top-of-the-line electric portable offered by Montgomery Ward at this time. Plenty of functions and well made. The carriage return on this one was weak; solved by wrapping a strip of packing tape around a spinning cylinder on the right end of the fluted shaft (a little more friction was required).
