Description:
This model has a creamy white plastic body and a PICA typeface. I've heard people describe the keys as "chicklet-shaped," a description I rather like. Its sized somewhere between a ultra and medium portable, yet a bit heavier compared with other similar sized models. The upside of it's weight is that it is very sturdy. This is my second typewriter acquisition.

Music school owner and novelist who enjoys communicating and storytelling using the power of a manual typewriter. I am definitely a fan of Joe Van Cleave's typewriter video series.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Remington Ten Forty on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Remington Serial Number page and the Remington Ten Forty By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
