Description:
Third Tippa I got to try and use, this time a 1970 Triumph Tippa S with typical Greek keyboard, the first one that I am really satisfied by its typing action and overall condition. I love the color combination of black with cream white, along with the combination of plastic with metal on the shell, very charming and effective in terms of weight. Although it misses the sign that usually we see on the back of these machines, I suppose it was manufactured in Western Germany.

Writer and blogger from Athens, Greece. I own a small collection of typewriters, most of my machines are functional and I try to repair any with problems that keeps it from typing. For me, it is important for a typewriter not just to sit on a shelve for display, but to be able to type when I want to. On the links below you will find my blogs and social media profiles. Feel free to follow me and get in touch if you want. I am always happy to communicate :)
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Triumph Tippa S on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Triumph Serial Number page and the Triumph Tippa S By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
