Description:
Green platen rubber? I didn't know there were color-coordinated platens on any typewriter. Its blue on my 1903 Fox 3 and I've seen another ancient Fox with reddish rubber, but that may be just because its 117 years old...
Question for Typewiterland: were there any other typewriter models with a color-coordinated platen? I did a little looking and it doesn't look like there is.
I love this machine. Green platen, even has a little pad on the carriage return lever that matches the pretty light-green metallic paint. This thing must've been at about the top of the price list for S-C's manual machines.
