Description:
This typewriter was listed on Goodwillfinds.com for a steal. It was pretty dirty, especially the travel case, but cleaned up well and types like a dream. I believe from looking at others in the gallery, it is a 1967 model, but would love to have confirmation on the year of manufacture.

Hello, I am recently retired and have relocated to sunny Arizona from many years of living in the Pacific Northwest. Of course, I'm at an age where I grew up with typewriters and they have always had a special place in my heart. I recall my dad having an old manual Royal that has long since been lost to time and house moves. My unicorn is a (working) Olivetti Praxis 48. My mom "upgraded" to that machine from her manual and I can still remember writing papers on that beautiful typewriter. I lost her a few years ago and I would love to hunt an old Praxis down to relive some of those wonderful childhood memories.
I am new to collecting and only have a few so far, but I am always excited to search nooks and crannies for long forgotten treasures. I am so happy to be a part of this family!
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Smith Corona Electra 120 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Smith Corona Serial Number page and the Smith Corona Electra 120 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
