Description:
Vintage 1966 Typewriter in lovely yellow/ tan/mustard color. Fully functional with a brand new black ribbon.
As you may recall, in the classic game Clue, Colonel Mustard and other party guests were attacked in the library and elsewhere throughout the house leaving you to solve the crime.
Well, in our case, the crime has been solved: Colonel Mustard was attacked by Mrs. Peacock with a pipe wrench in a FedEX delivery van. His case and cover were cracked. But he's a tough soldier and refuses to surrender. I painstakingly repaired the cracks and restored the Colonel.

A lover of the written word, I was bitten by the typewriter bug at the beginning of 2019 when I embarked on a Joyful Odyssey to track down a vintage Olympia SM 7/8/9, (I didn't know the model number at the time) that my mother had owned and which I had used to type my college applications in the late 1980's. I have acquired quite a number since, and have enjoyed learning about the history, mechanics, and true variety of these machines.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Smith Corona Corsair Deluxe on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Smith Corona Serial Number page and the Smith Corona Corsair Deluxe By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
