Description:
This may be only my second ever antique-store find! (The first being my very first typewriter--a Remington 5). Anyway, I found this 196X Smith Corona Coronet Electric with techno pica typeface at an antique store in Adamstown, PA in May of 2023. I usually stay away from electrics, but this one was in good shape to begin with, and didn't need a whole lot of work to bring it fully back to both beauty and functionality.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Smith Corona Coronet Electric on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Smith Corona Serial Number page and the Smith Corona Coronet Electric By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
