A really nice workhorse, and not bad in the looks department either. I may still prefer the overall design of the Super-5 machines, but the 6-series Smith-Corona models are still worthy of respect.
With respect to the jeweled movement advertised on the machine's type guide assembly, I've included a few photos of the area on the escapement where one of the presumably two jewels would be fitted.
