Description:
This machine came to me as a Christmas present from my younger brother. It is in perfect cosmetic condition, and doesnât appear to have been used all that much. Not so much as a tiny chip in the paint to be found. Only thing I had to repair, was a missing linkage in the line-spacing mechanism. Without the linkage, the carriage return lever just flopped around. Fashioned a new one out of some steel wire and its working just fine now. Also degreased and lightly re-lubed all of the typebar pivot points, which improved the heavy touch somewhat. Sports a blue ribbon currently. This example has a 12cpi Elite font. -EDIT- Adopted by TB Writers Plus in Dayton. I just wasn't using it much at all!
