Description:
#336
Another Smith Corona "Corsair", made in England, sold by J.C. Penney. Not enough extras to move it up to the varsity level... hence the "Jayvee" name. It does have a lot more in common with the "Corsair Deluxe" model.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the JC Penney Jayvee on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the JC Penney Serial Number page and the JC Penney Jayvee By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
