Description:
Later version of the custom-cased Commodore Personal. Stampings inside both the case and ribbon cover now say Commodore instead of the case manufacturer's name.
The Professional model added a colour selector among other things, so beside the blank opening where that lever would have stuck out, you can see how the crinkle paint was used to fill the divots meant for the colour legend.
This Commodore also has the rotten rubber that Consul machines of the era were blessed with; at least with this particular model it's an easy fix.
The soft travel case is a Blondy, another Commodore substitute to make their models less similar to Consul machines in appearance at least.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Commodore Personal on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Commodore Serial Number page and the Commodore Personal By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
