Description:
This is my 1969 Smith-Corona Electra 120, named āGretaā or āGrumbly Gretaā due to the motor noise. It has an elite typeface and came with majority of the original paperwork. If anyone needs a photo copy of the paperwork or if the paperwork hasnāt been archived yet by someone else, leave a comment and Iāll get right on it.

Hi! Iām Ryan and Iām rather a novice when it comes to typewriter collecting. I have been interested in typewriters since I was in my early teens. My collection first started with a 1949 Smith Corona Silent my grandfather got me for $5 from a yard sale. I then added a 1982 Sears The Electric 2 to my collection. My next finds were a 1949 Underwood Champion, 1953 Royal Quiet De Luxe, and a 1950 Remington All-New. My next finds were a set of Smith Coronas, a 1970 Sterling and a 1969 Electra 120. After that, my next find was a 1965 Royal Safari. My latest find is a 1975 Smith Corona (Ghia Designed) Super G.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Smith Corona Electra 120 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Smith Corona Serial Number page and the Smith Corona Electra 120 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
