Description:
Sottsass masterwork. THE electric Olivetti to die for (the corresponding manual one should be the Graphika).
Of course, deserves its place at the MOMA. Hard to imagine a better industrial design, ever.
Just its cantilevered keyboard is as visually attractive as Marilyn Monroe in hot pants. And take a look at that green little keytops, where you just can type the wrong letter if you intentionally do it (they fit at your fingertips reach as easy as a glove, and at the same time they are so separated each one of the others that it looks like magic!).
Once in the move, the typewriter is very quiet, and its keystroke is impressive.
Even there is, underneath the keyboard, a concealed touch control to complete the operator's typing joy.
