Description:
One of the earliest SG3s after the color change to dark grey keys. Has a wonderful and smooth action. Very solid feel and long carriage is like butter. Machine is in excellent shape and appeared almost unused.
On a side note, I am deeply impressed by the build quality and toughness of this typewriter. I purchased it through shopgoodwill and it was shipped from Minnesota to Seattle with minimal packaging. Literally just the typewriter in a box with five sheets of balled up newspaper. I was sure it was a goner when I opened the box but amazingly, it was totally fine, and mechanisms were smooth as silk despite very rough treatment. Exceptional build quality.
