fundamentally a 6 series Smith Corona, Sears ordered these with a pilcrow key that advances the carriage 5 spaces at every press. Unlike the earlier models it doesn't have the paper injector,
Rather than a panel on the bottom used in-house by Smith Corona, the entire bottom half of the body is removed with 4 screws, giving easy access to the interior.
The 1/2 and 1/4 are slightly offset because I added them later after reconnecting the loose linkage.

The carrtrlidgeswere damaged, so I replaced them with metal spools I had around the house. The oneon the left is from a 1934 Underwood Four Bank Portable. The right was from a Brother JP-8.
