Not to be confused with the taupe model from 1960 or so which I also own and about which little is written. (similar to the Heritage). Can have a tinny sound when typing like their close relatives the brothers, but this is easy to remedy by replacing the rubber bumpers under the ribbon cover and especially under the spacebar.

Lovely two tone blue all metal machine. Not to be confused with the taupe model from 1960 or so which I also own and about which little is written. (similar to the Heritage). A lover of the written word, I was bitten by the typewriter bug at the beginning of 2019 when I embarked on a Joyful Odyssey to track down a vintage Olympia SM 7/8/9, (I didn't know the model number at the time) that my mother had owned and which I had used to type my college applications in the late 1980's. I have acquired quite a number since, and have enjoyed learning about the history, mechanics, and true variety of these machines.
