When we bought her she wasn't typing very well on the black setting and it appears that the original own must have smoked as Margaret had a strong odor of cigarette smoke about her. after a cleaning and a replacement of the ribbon and felt she was good as new. We call her Margaret because the original owner wrote her name on the typewriter.
