Description:
#264
Got this from the original owner... He said he only used it eight times, and it looks it. This typer is in MINT condition. Chocolate Chip MINT condition. And it's a pica!... my favorite...
Not sure if the serial number has a "9" before the "5", because it's hidden under another piece of metal.
The dealer should be commended on the placement of the store decal, on the left side of machine. (see image # 2 & )
And the original manual was still inside the case.

"I was born in a crossfire hurricane"...
A professor in college gave me the gift and appreciation of the letter form.
Typewriters are just little "print shops" for me.
I have an MFA in 3D Digital Sculpture.
I no longer mold young minds, by teaching art to high school students, everyday is a safari now...
In my spare time I own and operate an equal opportunity rescue shelter for all makes and models of typewriters that have been abandoned in the bottoms of closets.
No matter how many typewriters I am fortunate to be able to collect, my collection will not be as nice as Herman's...
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Olympia SF De Luxe on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Olympia Serial Number page and the Olympia SF De Luxe By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
