Description:
Olympia Monica typewriter with Greek typeface, found at an antique shop. Dirty on the outside, very clean on the inside. Unfortunately it misses its case. As I read, the "Monica" model is a lighter version of the SM series, without touch control and tab features. Heavy metal body, very strong and steady machine, types beautifully without any problems, besides its platten which is very hard. From all my machines so far, it had the most "weird" serial number... 3100000! Sold as part of downsizing my collection.

Writer and blogger from Athens, Greece. I own a small collection of typewriters, most of my machines are functional and I try to repair any with problems that keeps it from typing. For me, it is important for a typewriter not just to sit on a shelve for display, but to be able to type when I want to. On the links below you will find my blogs and social media profiles. Feel free to follow me and get in touch if you want. I am always happy to communicate :)
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Olympia Monica on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Olympia Serial Number page and the Olympia Monica By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
