The second $5 manual metal typewriter acquired this week. It was filthy and needed a bath... still worth the money.
Had to create a new category for "Safari deluxe" (I think the "SD" in the serial number supports this...)

Typewriters are just little "print shops" for me.

I no longer mold young minds, by teaching art to high school students, everyday is a safari now...
In my spare time I own and operate an equal opportunity rescue shelter for all makes and models of typewriters that have been abandoned in the bottoms of closets.
No matter how many typewriters I am fortunate to be able to collect, my collection will not be as nice as Herman's...
