1965 Royal Parade Serial # PR-6095483 1965 Royal Parade typewriter, Serial # PR-6095483 Uwe Wachtendorf's 1965 Royal Parade typewriter. 2015-06-27 From the Virtual Typewriter Collection of Uwe Wachtendorf: 1965 Royal Parade Serial # PR-6095483 Everyone loves a parade. And even though this Parade doesn't feature a marching band, clowns on stilts, or Shriners in miniature cars, it still manages to put a smile on my face.

There's a lot to like about this little Royal. It has a solid metal case, a taught and concise type action, and its DNA ties it to the equally impressive Futura 800 and FP models.

There's something else: Its fez-red paint gives it a friendly and extroverted character that could only be improved upon by the addition of a gold-coloured tassel to its carriage.
