Description:
I bought this from a buy-and-sell in my hometown for $5, and it was in alright shape, save for the carriage return linkage not engaging. I'm still having problems with the springs under the left platen knob. But it works now, and it's a solid machine. A little more cleaning and perhaps a bit of work, and it will be back up and running for good in my rotation of daily typers.

I have been collecting typewriters all my life, starting with a 1980's Brother Charger 11 (which I no longer have, but have replaced with an identical machine). I have well over 60 typewriters now, with a few rare portables. Some are interesting or odd, but most of mine are common machines.
My wife and I have made a deal, that I can keep buying typewriters if she can keep buying shoes. Fair enough! *shrugs*
