Description:
This Facit portable is as comforting as eating Swedish meatballs while listening to ABBA in your Volvo. It's groooovy baby!
Something worth noting is that this machine does not have a tabulator, a feature that earlier TP1 models I've seen all seem to have. I've yet to dive into the Facit story, and consequently I don't know when the TP2 was introduced, so I wonder if both models coexisted for a while and with the introduction of the TP2, the TP1 was no longer produced with a tabulator and relegated to the role of a more basic model? Or was it that a tabulator was an option for the TP1 during its production run? Anyone have concrete information on this?

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Facit TP1 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Facit Serial Number page and the Facit TP1 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
