Description:
This 1964 Smith-Corona Galaxie II was a throw-in on a deal I made for another machine in Center City Philadelphia, PA, in December 2020. However, this machine has a soft spot in my heart, as it is the same model as the machine I learned to type on as a child. That SC Galaxie II--with the same color scheme--was what my mother was given as a gift for her high-school graduation.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Smith Corona Galaxie II on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Smith Corona Serial Number page and the Smith Corona Galaxie II By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
