Description:
First typewriter after quite some time and my first ever Smith Corona, a beautiful Classic 12 with standard Greek keyboard. Found without its case, very dirty and with bented keys, after the cleaning and fixing the problematic keys, it works great. Love the design, how well made it is and the nice typeface!

Writer and blogger from Athens, Greece. I own a small collection of typewriters, most of my machines are functional and I try to repair any with problems that keeps it from typing. For me, it is important for a typewriter not just to sit on a shelve for display, but to be able to type when I want to. On the links below you will find my blogs and social media profiles. Feel free to follow me and get in touch if you want. I am always happy to communicate :)
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Smith Corona Classic 12 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Smith Corona Serial Number page and the Smith Corona Classic 12 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
