Description:
[This machine has been sold] This machine belonged to the seller's father, who had worked as a chemist his whole life. Probably why this machine has the greek letters. It was likely used in his papers to note down algorithms and other similar denotations for his work. Despite being appropriately equipped with these keys for a chemist, the seller told me it wasn't the machine his father -usually- typed on, which I don't understand, because this thing types very crisply and responsively. The bakelite keys feel nice against the finger tips. The colour seems typical of its age, but me I can't seem to shake the feeling of 'old hospital' it gives me. This machine is currently out for sale, but at the time of creating this entry it is still in my collection.

I am a Norwegian fellow who enjoys tinkering and fixing up typewriters. One day I decided I wanted a typewriter to write letters on. I bought one that turned out not to work. I got annoyed and decided I should be able to figure out what was wrong and fix it. I did it, but the rush of successfully mending such an intricate machine was like a drug. I wanted more. I decided I would try to buy non-functioning, but pretty machines, fix them and sell them before repeating the process. What I didn't expect was that I would fall in love with the machines I fix so now I suddenly find myself a bit of a collector.
