Description:
This Hermes 3000 was a decent local deal. It was dirty and had an issue with the spacebar which made it inoperable. That's fixed now and it types like a charm.
It features the Techno-Pica typeface (TP).
The bottom plate, which also acts as one side of the travel case, has clearly been bumped around, but otherwise the machine is in excellent condition.

I started collecting my first pre-WW2 standard typewriters in 2017. Since then I have added a few machines to my collection, which now ranges from the 1890s to the 1980s. As of 2020, I have more big standard (desktop) typewriters than portables, and a few standard electrics.
