Description:
Meet "Ophelia"! Yes, as my type samples all prove, I am obsessed with Shakespeare, and Hamlet in particular. Ophelia is just like her namesake - beautiful, and somewhat flighty. Her "s" key is, at the moment, refusing to work, and so I had to find a quote that did not include the offending letter. Forsooth, I needed to use the weird character that looks like two "S-es" together to form the S for "Scene"... but it comes across okay, I think. Nothing like a little madness where Ophelia is concerned, eh? Her beauty is her virtue.

Started with one typewriter in our small cottage, and ended up with over twenty! Transformed a closet into a gothic "typewriterbrary" and it makes a great centerpiece for the house, and an easy way to access all the typewriters for writing letters, journaling, and whatnot, as well as keeping them dust-free in the betweentimes.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Torpedo 30 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Torpedo Serial Number page and the Torpedo 30 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
