Description:
1159. This was sold as an Ivrea, but based on the serial number and Ivrea tag, it appears this is a Lettera 22. The irony is that I have been trying to find a Lettera 22 for a reasonable price and I picked this up for part since it is missing the ribbon cover.

I started my collection back in 2017 when I found a 1993 Brother WP-1250, which was very close to the typewriter I owned and used to write letters home while I was stationed in Korea serving in the US Air Force (I later discovered it was most likely the Brother WP-1150, so I picked that up). In 2018, my wife took me to one of the local antique store and I saw an old typewriter that caught my eye. My wife purchased it for me for Christmas (a 1932 Royal 10). My wife and I decided to limit my collection to 5 typewriters, so I need to sell off my surplus.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Olivetti Lettera 22 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Olivetti Serial Number page and the Olivetti Lettera 22 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
