Description:
From an antique dealer, a picker actually. The line space lever was missing but later turned up in the pouch inside the soft case. The typewriter has been dropped on its back and so needs several fiddly fixes. It basically works but not smoothly yet. It looks like a two-tone paint scheme because I cleaned the ribbon cover (Scrubbing Bubbles®) and not the rest.

While I find all of mankind's inventions interesting, I am most enchanted by the human-scale arts and devices, the ones that can be created (and repaired) in a home workshop or studio; the ones that can be understood by looking at them; the ones that do something useful or stir admiration. Typewriters work for me.
