Description:
A 1960's Skyriter I picked up recently at a local thrift store for $10. It was in rough sharp, so I had to do quite a bit of cleaning. Luckily the mechanical portions of the typewriter were in good working order.
The original paint was beyond repair, so I updated the paint job and gave it some TLC. I additionally added some accent colors on the shift keys, which harkens back to the original skyriter keyboard design.

I'm a software engineer in the Chicagoland area. I've been collecting "vintage" vinyl, computers, mechanical keyboards and typewriters since I was a kid. Born into an analog world, but grew up in a digital one.
My wife is a writer and I enjoy problem solving and puzzles, so naturally fixing I fell in love with fixing and maintaining typewriters and she then gets to enjoy all of these machines!
