Description:
#405
A three bank toy, but for a toy, this had a few more features than I expected. It has a ribbon reverse, a paper bail (no rollers), and a colorful leather case.It is missing a very specific ribbon spool and it's thinner ribbon. Also, they didn't bother to give it a serial number. I does state, in three different locations, that it is made in Japan. This model is very similar to the Sears "Tutor" of the same era (ribbon cover).

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Sears Junior on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Sears Serial Number page and the Sears Junior By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
