Description:
I have always wanted to find one of the last generation Noiseless standards and had been trying to buy this one since I first saw it on Ebay in 2017.
It is within the last series of serial numbers which is interesting. Interesting styling, too, with a snap on dust cover, but a backing panel that is held on with screws. It is very quiet and comfortable to use with the green Remington keys from this era.
But, as I have come to expect with these Noiselesses, is that the print quality is just not the best.
Left the collection on 9/28/2019.

I started collecting typewriters several years ago and it started with a late 1960s Smith-Corona Sterling portable that I got as a gift.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Remington Noiseless 10 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Remington Serial Number page and the Remington Noiseless 10 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
