Description:
Nice British-built little machine that lets me type very fast with the adjustable touch control.
A bit puzzled by the serial number - based on the info on this site I would have expected it to either have seven digits, or to begin with 'EBT'. I cleaned all around the serial number in case there was another digit that was worn or obscured, but this is definitely the whole number. Have dated it to early 1950s due to the chrome 'Remington' badge on the front, which seems to have been added very late in the model's postwar run.
Sold January 2020.
