I have tried to find the serial number in the database.
Entering Cicero send me to Halda, and going back from the two registered Cicero typewriter galeries to Remington didn’t help me either.
Along the way I found out that this is a Torpedo model 30, but I couldn’t find it there eighter.
I have dated this machine the same as the other two registered here, 195X.
Any better suggestions are appreciated.
A very nice and compact machine that needs to be cleaned and serviced thoroughly after being used as a “decorative element”, it’s a bit crusty and dusty.
Sold as non-operable, not able to feed paper into the machine.
Rollers underneath the platen are shot and need to be replaced, besides that, everything seems to operate and I was able to create a typeface specimen.

Typerwriterfan from the Netherlands, recently bought a few typewriters again and started cleaning and adjusting them.
I haven't touched a typewriter in a long time, but it's fun working with them again.
