Description:
Found at a resale shop in Ann Arbor MI in Oct 2023. Perhaps brought to the USA by a student at UofM...who knows. Cleaned up very nice. Types wonderfully. The carriage return lever storage position is rather unique as is the ribbon color selector lever. T116

I have always enjoyed tinkering with mechanical "things". For a number of years my wife wanted an IBM Selectric, The machine she used many years ago as a secretary. In 2020 we found one at an auction and bought it for $15. It took another $150 for the typewriter repairman to get it working. That turned out to be T001 in our collection. In the beginning we bought whatever we found. Now I am concentrating on the portables rather than the older office machines. The collection is getting large and it is time to start posting on TWDB.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Antares Parva on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Antares Serial Number page and the Antares Parva By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
