Description:
Much to the chagrin of my wife, who happens to be very tolerant of my eccentricities, I often travel with a portable at my side. Half the fun is deciding on which machine to take, the other half is the reaction of the person manning the x-ray machine at the airport.
The Royalite is a good travel companion. It's not too heavy, has decent performance, and is fun to type with, but above all is its alluring looks that fit so well with air travel and exotic locales.
Although I've always been particularly fond of the Royalite's velvet-like travel case interior, I use a well padded transport case designed for musical equipment, which makes carrying the Royal a similar experience to schlepping a laptop.
