1959 Royal FP Serial # FPS-6806807 1959 Royal FP typewriter, Serial # FPS-6806807 Mark Schrad's 1959 Royal FP typewriter. 2023-02-16 From the Virtual Typewriter Collection of Mark Schrad: 1959 Royal FP Serial # FPS-6806807 Here's a fascinating 1959 Royal FPS: "S" denoting special order--in this case, because of the elite semi-gothic typeface. This machine was in really rough shape when I got it in Penndel, PA, in February of 2023 (see "before" pics by the CSN railway). It took quite a thorough cleaning and de-mucking to get it working the way it should. The FPS has a very cool aesthetic, and after writing up a bunch of valentines on it, I'm really pleased with the typeface and the written product.
