Description:
The key tops are worn, and the type slugs are possibly a bit worn, since I have another QR that types more sharply with a similar ribbon. Great to type on, with a classic newsroom sound and easy touch. Well suited to creative writing.

Resident of Portland, Oregon since 2015. Mostly interested in semi-portables of the '30s, '40s, and '50s (the late glass key top through late pre-electric eras), with a special interest in unusual or distinctive typefaces other than techno and script. Always learning!
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Remington Quiet-Riter Eleven on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Remington Serial Number page and the Remington Quiet-Riter Eleven By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
