I got this early Hermes 3000 from a seller in Fleetwood, PA in May of 2024. It has the early lid design, which means it can be a bear to open... especially when the bottom plate was in need of re-forming to that everything on the frame of the machine lines up as it should... which it now does. The Director Pica typeface is a really nice touch on a buttery smooth machine to type on!
