Description:
#208
Wow, I didn't know these existed... and its in good shape too! What a sturdy, snappy little typer. And it's an American keyboard... This was purchased from the daughter of the original owner. He spent a few years in Geneva, and brought it back with him. The case is quite remarkable as well. The next step is a new ribbon.

"I was born in a crossfire hurricane"...
A professor in college gave me the gift and appreciation of the letter form.
Typewriters are just little "print shops" for me.
I have an MFA in 3D Digital Sculpture.
I no longer mold young minds, by teaching art to high school students, everyday is a safari now...
In my spare time I own and operate an equal opportunity rescue shelter for all makes and models of typewriters that have been abandoned in the bottoms of closets.
No matter how many typewriters I am fortunate to be able to collect, my collection will not be as nice as Herman's...
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Swissa Junior on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Swissa Serial Number page and the Swissa Junior By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
