The main page says: "Quiet De Luxe 'A' Model becomes Futura 800 '2A' Model, Arrow 'C' Model becomes Futura 400 '2C' Model, although all are produced concurrently during 1958." So far, there is no overlap. The last QDL is 391 and the first Futuras are 392.
This one went off to the military academy in Mexico, Missouri in 1958. A few bumps and bruises along the way. Check out my repurposed camping mat for the foam insulation. The Future 800 'Silent.'
