Description:
#556
Ny first experience with one of these machines... I am impressed!
This machine came with the manual and inspection card... but the serial # on the card doesn't match the # on the typewriter.
What is the 4th "blue" dot for on the ribbon color selector? (see the keyboard detail photo)

"I was born in a crossfire hurricane"...
A professor in college gave me the gift and appreciation of the letter form.
Typewriters are just little "print shops" for me.
I have an MFA in 3D Digital Sculpture.
I no longer mold young minds, by teaching art to high school students, everyday is a safari now...
In my spare time I own and operate an equal opportunity rescue shelter for all makes and models of typewriters that have been abandoned in the bottoms of closets.
No matter how many typewriters I am fortunate to be able to collect, my collection will not be as nice as Herman's...
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Rheinmetall KsT on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Rheinmetall Serial Number page and the Rheinmetall KsT By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
