Description:
Received it in very dirty, but mostly working condition. After some scrubbing and waxing, it looks great. It originally had a correcting ribbon in it, so that was a mess. All I had to do mechanically was free up the return and tab mechanisms, as they weren’t quite working right. The power roller looks and feels pretty good. I also had to re-solder someone else’s re-solder to the g/G slug, as it was far too low on the paper, and it's all good now. I've really been wanting one of these for a while so I’m planning on using it as my main machine instead of my Adler electric 21 (which uses the same roller system, coincidently).

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the IBM Model B on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the IBM Serial Number page and the IBM Model B By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
