Bought for $40 at an estate sale. It's amazingly well-preserved, if I may say so. It's almost brand new, despite its age, but with a few smudges here and there on the body.

I'm an archaeologist who writes heritage books and collects Japanese ceramics as well as quite a number of typewriters that I've acquired through purchase or as gifts over the last 10 years in the Philippines as well as in the US and Japan.
I'm currently a visiting professor at a university in Japan and it is heaven here to see so many typewriters being auctioned online!
