Apparently this was the sellers father's typewriter and he'd purchased it new... Other than needing a cleaning, it seems to be in really good shape and so is the case.

First started using a SMC Galaxie Twelve to type out and paste a zine in high school in the late 80's - I've been picking up typewriters as opportunity presents itself ever since. It's more of a casual hobby than a compulsion. Writing on a typewriter seems just the right speed for not getting ahead of what I have to say.
