My favorite typewriter is this 1957 Remington Quiet RIter. It's a solidly built machine designed for a heavy work load. It sits in my office as a conversation piece for students and faculty at the School of Visual Arts. It's my go-to Generator for creating new drafts for written material as well as type-written correspondence. I'm amazed the Quiet Riter is not valued higher by collectors.
