This is a beautiful Lettera 22 first series , I found it in truly excellent condition. I cleaned and serviced it and changed the carriage string. It is hands down one of my favorite typewriters to use. The paper is loaded quickly and effortlessly, the mechanisms are smooth and fast. The feel and response of the keys under your fingers when writing is beautiful, it feels like a piano. Furthermore, to be "ultra portable", it is a machine complete with tabulator and color selector. Last but not least, it's really beautiful.

I am a typewriter hunter and collector. I love going to second-hand markets to find typewriters to valorize. I want each of my typewriters to be functional, as I use them all to actually write on. I collect Olivetti and other Italian brands, but in rality i like all kinds of typewriter. I'm (slowly) adding my collection to the database.
