1957 Groma Modell T Serial # 351569 1957 Groma Modell T typewriter, Serial # 351569 Dimitris Nikou's 1957 Groma Modell T typewriter. 2020-10-10 From the Virtual Typewriter Collection of Dimitris Nikou: 1957 Groma Modell T Serial # 351569 Flea market find, this Groma Model T with Greek typeface, in a beautiful burgundy color! It was made in 1957 according to the serial number, the last year of manufacture of this model. It has its original case in descent condition, with a sticker on its side of an "Americal Institute" which is, I suppose, the predecessor of one of the American Foundations in Greece. Everything works perfectly, I cannot see any problems, even the ribbon is fine and I really love the sweet small letters it types! The lines of its body, the curves, the color, the aluminium stripe in the middle, the carriage return lever, the embedded Groma logo... beautiful design, such a pleasure to look at!

After cleaning the typeslugs and using compressed air to get rid of some inner dust, the typewriter is absolutely fine and a real pleasure to use. It is solid and strong yet providing a very soft key touch for the fingers. A really trustworthy typer. I am very happy to add another great German typewriter in my collection!

Flea market find, this Groma Model T with Greek typeface, in a beautiful burgundy color! It was made in 1957 according to the serial number, the last year of manufacture of this model.
